Our 3 AM morning drive to Joshua Tree was well worth it. Probably just for me since I slept the whole way haha (thank you, Tino). The park was quiet, and we had the entire skull rock area to ourselves. We climbed up high and we were able to catch the sunrise. I loved watching the rocks reflect sunrise's colors and slowly lose their bubblegum hues. I mentioned previously that I found Joshua Tree difficult to photograph. I thought they'd be all brown with specs of green, but the desert sunrise proved me wrong!

Yosemite was my only trip that happened in 2020 - spur of the moment, but everything I needed. We stayed in the valley and hiked every day under towering trees and mountains. It was quieter and slower than my usual LA paced lifestyle. I'm usually the one behind the camera, but since I've picked up film my husband has been using my Fujifilm to take his own moments☺Kodak Gold and Fuji C200 captured fall at Big Sur and Yosemite so beautifully. My top photography goals in 2021 are to remember to bring my tripod and remember which film stock I used for each picture. I'm also determined to shoot with consistency regardless of medium. Here's to shooting and learning more in 2021 ♡
